Chinese
girls are universally in love with white people.

It is an interesting observation that Chinese
girls are universally in love with white people in Hollywood films. It is very
normal and universal to see the image on the screen that the Chinese leading
lady will go to the bed with white men or kiss the white men, with or without
reason, as the story goes on. Why?

In contemporary and modern times, the west countries are powerful. The west powers are leading in all directions for a long time, including politics, economics and culture. The built dominant position makes powerful culture and value output. And the most important, the progressiveness will reflect in their citizens. All kinds of reasons make the west white males are very confident.

And the west white males have their biological
and physical advantage. High nose, deep eyes, golden hair, white skin, and white
teeth make the west white males look very handsome, and they are well received
by oriental women. The west white men are tall. And tall stature has become one
of the criteria for the selection of many girls.

And there is a rumor that the sex ability
of the white men is much stronger than the oriental men. The sex ability of Chinese
men is inferior by comparison to the crazy the white men. The Chinese men are
so weak that the reason of Chinese style divorce is the marital sex life is not
harmonious. So, the Chinese beauties scramble for white men. Though the rumor
is proved to be a true rumor, it still influences many oriental and Chinese women,
and it is ingrained.

Art comes from life, and is higher than
life. These society social phenomena are reasonably described in the film
that is based on life.

Examples
of Chinese girls and white people.

In Čovek sa gvozdenom pesnicom, Lucy Alexis Liu provides Russell Ira Crowe with place and girls to play games. Russell Ira Crowe has several mistresses at the same time, and he is happy with games and little things.

In The Transporter, Shu Qi actively requests love from Jason Statham to reward him for saving her life. It happens for a good reason, and of course he saves her. Jason Statham refuses her at the beginning, but under the repeated demands he surrenders to her gentle embrace.

In Outcast, Hayden Christensen and Crystal Liu kiss beside the campfire. They are both in trouble that they are hunted by killers, and they come together through thick and thin. It may be true love.

In The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor, Nolasco Da Silva Luisa Isabella and Luke Ford suddenly fall in love without a foundation. That is too abrupt and unacceptable.

In Miami Vice, Colin Farrell and Gong Li put on stage the passion sex, which greatly enriches audiences’ mind. The bold and unconstrained image of Gong Li completely subverts the world’s view of traditional Chinese female.

What
about Chinese men and white girl?

Jackie Chan, Jet Li, and Donnie Yen are world known and acknowledged Chinese martial arts stars. But they are only limited as martial arts stars, and have no affairs with the white beautiful women. And they even don’t get a kiss with the white female stars, and the white females who cooperate with them are not first stars, but two or three line movie stars. In Kiss of the Dragon, Jet Li escapes with the prostitute without body touch. In The Spy Next Door, Jackie Chan has to settle a great series of troubles to marry a family of mother and three kids, which is really difficult for him.

There are some suggestions. China should
make films about crazy Chinese men and white women, and focuses highlight of Chinese
men strong sex ability—-That’s what Hollywood does to focus highlight of white
men sex ability. And, China should abandon white male pictures in advertising
industry, and uses local handsome male models. China is a country of abundant
human resources, and it is very easy. Finally, China and Chinese people should
be more confident, and believe in themselves.
The post Chinese girls always fall in love with the white in Hollywood films first appeared on On Film.

The
Karate Kid comes to China to learn Kong Fu unexpectedly.

Kong Fu, or Chinese Kung Fu, Chinese
traditional martial arts, is the nickname of Wu Shu in the late Qing Period. It
reflects personal applications and attainments of Wu Shu. Based on the technological
orientation of stop the invasion, it is the way of entering understanding man
and nature, and social objective law. Kong Fu is the crystallization of the
wisdom of the Chinese nation, the embodiment of Chinese traditional culture,
and the unique “martial arts” in the world. Its skills are Rigid and
soft, and rely on external and internal cultivation. As the precious cultural
heritage of the Chinese working people, it contains Sages’ understanding of
life and universe. A large number of Chinese Kung Fu film and television works at
home and abroad, and worldwide spread of Wing Chun and Shaolin show that Kong
Fu has wide influence in the world.

The learning of Kung Fu mainly relies on the Master Transmission Mode,
and sometimes fate. Of course, personal innate qualifications are very
important. Some people look for a good teacher in their whole life without
getting close to a Master, and some people learn for a long time but are not
qualified to learn directly from the Master, but from the Master’s students.

But now, the Karate Kid has his good fate
to learn from the Master. The Karate Kid,
a 2010 Chinese-American martial arts action drama
film directed by Harald Zwart, stars Jaden Smith, Jackie
Chan and Taraji P. Henson. This remake of the original 1984
film of the same name is set in China, and features Kung Fu instead
of Karate. 12-year-old Dre from Detroit,
Michigan moves to Beijing, China with his mother and runs
afoul of the neighborhood bully. He makes an unlikely ally in the form of an
aging maintenance man, Mr. Han, a kungfu master who teaches him kungfu
for self-defense. Dre even wins the Wushu Competition Champion.

The unfriendly
Chinese boy.

When Dre plays in the community Park, he gets acquaintant with the Chinese girl, which makes a Chinese boy bully jealous. The Chinese boy comes to disturb their communication and order the girl to go home. Dre wants to reason with him, but the Chinese boy pushes Dre over, and beat him. Arrogant, rude, the Chinese boy really gives Dre a good lesson. Other Chinese kids just watch the fun indifferently, and no one goes to stop it. Dre’s white friend and the girl want to stop the Chinese boy, but fail.

Attention! It is a Chinese boy who may be a
junior school student that shows how unfriendly he is! And in the whole film,
the Chinese boy always finds some excuse to start a quarrel
or a fight with Dre. And audiences praise Dre for his hard work to learn Chinese
Kong Fu and tenacious spirits, people would get disgusting that the Chinese boy
is so unreasonable.

In fact, Chinese people are friendly, or
even over friendly to the foreigners.

Chinese people never judge the foreigners’
color. There are white people, black people, and yellow people, and other color
people in China, and they never meet racial discrimination in any private and public
occasions. They make money together, study together, and live together, equally.
Foreigners can be found everywhere, and no place sets the racial barrier. Chinese
society gives them the equal chance to fulfill their dreams.

Chinese people and China make every convenience
for foreigners. Considering that understanding Chinese language is a big
problem for foreigners, there are English instructions, signs, and tips
everywhere, including roads, banks, restaurants, and transportation. And there
are many Chinese studying English and you can ask them for help without the
embarrassment of offering tips. You can find everything is so easy to go on.

Chinese people and China give foreigners preferential
treatment. The Chinese are told to treat foreign guests friendly and politely
from childhood. And some organizations, such as stations, hospitals, and so on,
set special service window only for foreigners, so that they can handle affairs
in time. For those foreigners who invest their money to do business or industry,
they will get favorable tax, land, human source, and other favorable policies
that make them get profit in lower costs.

Chinese are always friendly towards
foreigners. Historically, Chinese people always have some kind of feelings of
great powers, and they think themselves of ancient civilization, and a state of
ceremonies. And they take proud of taking comparative care of foreigners, and
they sometimes hold some extra patience on foreigners. Personally, Chinese
people always insist to win people by virtue, and to be friendly is a kind of personal
accomplishment.

In a word, the film maker can find another
way to show Dre how he can find the true himself and how he can get a good
chance to learn Chinese Kong Fu. The film doesn’t have to distort the facts that
Chinese people never get hard on the foreigners; no matter they are white,
black, yellow, or other colors. And sometimes Chinese people are so friendly
that some foreigners that think Chinese people are too weak become imperious.
Maybe China and Chinese people should treat foreigners flatly, but not super citizens.
The post The unfriendly Chinese boy in The Karate Kid (2010 film) first appeared on On Film.

People
expected too much from Skiptrace.

In recent years, Jackie Chan is not prolific,
almost one film a year. Sufficient attention from the public was paid to Skiptrace this time, and road shows
came one after another, which made the film popular before on the sreen. That
the first week with 408 million box office income showed the Jackie Chan influence.
Skiptrace is a 2016 Hong Kong-Chinese-American action comedy
film directed by Renny Harlin, produced and based on a story
by Jackie Chan, starring Fan Bingbing Johnny Knoxville. Hong Kong
detective Bennie Chan has been tracking notorious crime boss
“Matador” – whom he believes to be businessman Victor Wong – for over
a decade after the death of Bennie’s partner Yung. When Yung’s daughter
Samantha gets into trouble with Wong’s crime syndicate, Bennie must track down
an American conman, Connor Watts, who gambles his way through Chinese Macau casino.
However, before Bennie can find him, Connor is kidnapped by a Russian kingpin to
Russia to answer for leaving his daughter pregnant. Bennie rescues Connor, and
together they set foot on the escape route from Russia to Hong Kong.

Lately, pushed by embarrassing plots and old-style stories, Jackie Chan films only have one style that date back to the 1990s of last century, no matter Which director directs the film, because the director has to make the film in Jackie Chan’s way. The film has only one advantage that there are famous actors. And as the story progresses, more and more unique Jackie Chan styles are observed. There is one fight scene after another which is set as comic acts. Heroic confrontation and adventure for justice and loyalty is nervous and funny. That the police killed the bad, and the police honor is purified, and justice in the world is maintained is the fixed story pattern. The bad guys are characterized not sadistic but a little lovely, as the Jackie Chan films always do.

The
wrong getaway routes.

In the film, Connor is kidnapped by a
Russian kingpin to Russia, and Bennie goes to Russia to rescue him, and
together they go back to Hong Kong on foot. Along the way, many famous Chinese scenic
spots and unique native customs are shown to give people a cultural feast. This
plot gives the story the chance to launch the following dramatic plot, and it
is also the several nonsensical parts.

First, the way from Russia to Hong Kong is
really very much distant. It is impossible to finish the journey on foot. The
well-known long march of twenty-five thousand kilometers finished by the Red
Army took 2 years. The distance from Russia to Hong Kong maybe is 10 times the
long march. And how much time will it take to finish the journey?

Second, the communication with the natives of many places
is a big problem. How can they communicate with so many people in English in so
many places with different development levels? In Hong Kong, Bennie speaks
Chinese fluently. But in China mainland, Bennie speaks English all the way.
Even in the border between China and Mongolia, the two guys are arrested by the
Chinese frontier army, and Bennie seems to forget to speak Chinese anyway.

Third, the film is lack of knowledge of
Chinese river systems. In the film, the two guys get free from the Chinese frontier
army and sail downward with the current in the clear river. The nearest river from
the border is the Yellow River, and it is hundreds of miles away, and it is not
a clear river.

Forth, the film is lack of knowledge of
Chinese geography. In the film, the two guys come from Inner Mongolia to
Guangxi Province by boat. Theoretically, it is possible, but in fact, it is
impossible. Theoretically, they can sail downward the Yellow River, and come to
Hangzhou along the Beijing-Hangzhou Canal, and then they can sail upstream
the Changjiang River and into the Xiangjiang River. And they can go to the Lijiang
River by way of Linqu canal, where they can arrive in Guangxi. But in fact, the
distance may be thousands of miles, and the Beijing-Hangzhou Canal is
blocked.

There
is a plot much similar to The Myth.

Waves of Déjà vu can be felt with
many plots in the movie. Jackie Chan keeps telling people that he can continue
fighting, but the effects are not good enough. But, it may be a great joy to recollect
the plot that he used in former movies. He is always respectable, as
a dedicated actor.

There a plot much similar to The Myth (2005 film) 10 years ago. You can see the similar moving transmission belt, the similar action, the similar danger at the end of the belt. Look at the picture bellow.

Jackie
Chan is old now.

We can see in the film that Jackie Chan
movies slower, jump lower and responses duller than before. It makes our hearts ache to see Jackie
Chan keeping making so many good films after struggling in the front line in the movie world.
He still wants to give us laughter and good action shows, but there is limited
space for his age. He can change his action style, unnecessary to make the
movie with the danger of life. In retrospect of these years, films like Dragon Blade and Skiptrace that are action styles are not fit such an old man. He is
really old now. Jackie Chan has given us so many wonderful works, and he can
slow down to help the young actors, or go behind the scenes to do other things,
and leave the identity as an actor alone.
The post Skiptrace(film), a typical Jackie Chan film first appeared on On Film.

“After using all my might for 56 years in
the film industry, making more than 200 movies and breaking a lot of bones,
finally I get this Oscar statuette. Thank Hollywood! Thank you for teaching me
lots of things, and I make a name for myself.” Jackie Chan,
in black Chinese-style costume, said in the Oscar awarding ceremony. Jackie
Chan is the first Chinese, the fourth Asian, the youngest, to win the Oscar
Honorary Award. The Award was presented by Chris Tucker, Jackie Chan’s partner
inRush Hour, to Jackie Chan for his lifetime achievement and outstanding film career.

In fact, before receiving the Award, Jackie
Chan is already the symbol of Chinese culture in the world. His name reminds
people of China, and people think of his name when they think of China. No one
is like Jackie Chan after the Bruce Lee time.

When 22, Jackie Chan first went to American. He did nothing but studied English for almost 9months. After that, he began to play in the movie. The Hollywood didn’t recognize Jackie Chan’s action style at the beginning. The Hollywood liked super-hero or tough guy better, such as Clint Eastwood who could kill someone with one shot or knock someone down with one punch, of which they think to be manlier. But Jackie Chan’s action is fundamentally different. Jackie Chan punches but immediately takes the fist back and gulps. The audiences would think he was not the hero, and didn’t accept the acting style. Besides, the culture shock also made things worse. The American heroes are very Americentrism, and they can fly, and they can save the world, and they can save the human being from extinction. But Chinese heroes save their families, villages, or countries at most circumstances. Jackie Chan played very hard only to see his show being cut, which made him rather depressed.

But Jackie Chan did not give up. He
struggled to make film in accordance with his temperament and blood by trial and error.
The film career is the process of leading him to the nowadays style. He is
not genius but try to do things good every day. He matches the plots, actors
and different surroundings. Because different actions change little, the real
human actions have come to the end, but computer graphics have much development
space, of course. But Jackie Chan is smart enough to make the action happen in
different places, such as on the sofa, the desk, the bed, and so on, to catch
peoples’ eyes. Unlike other actors who play monotonously, he plays rhythmically,
just like music. Imperceptibly, the audiences get excited with the rhythm, and
they never feel boring. He gathers good scripts, good directors, good martial art consultant,
good environment, time, and money to make good films. So many small details make
the Jackie Chan style. He teaches people to make film through the lenses. He remains
the same in and out of the movie, but he and his film changes with the age.

From the start when Jackie
Chan played film in America, the American would not listen to Chinese people as
they did not recognize their actions and thoughts. The Hollywood films were for
the American and English-speaking area market, not for China. But now, the
American will care what Chinese people like, what film name attracts Chinese
people, what will influence the Chinese box office. Jackie Chan is so proud
that China and Chinese movie become strong, and the Chinese market becomes the
biggest box office around the world, and the time when people won’t listen to
the Chinese people remains the past. Now, Jackie Chan becomes a sharp film
people. He will get the right of final editing to determine the film to remain
his style.

People say Jackie Chan deserves the Oscar
Honorary Award, because he almost risks his life for it. “I am very proud to be
a Chinese,” said Jackie Chan in the Oscar awarding ceremony. Years later, when
talking about Chinese film people, people will say that there was a Bruce Lee
in China, and there was a Jackie Chan in China.
The post Jackie Chan will keep fighting after receiving Oscar Honorary Award first appeared on On Film.

Dragon
Bladeis a rare movie about ancient
Chinese war.

Dragon
Blade is a 2015 Chinese Hong
Kong historical action film written and directed by Daniel Lee.
In the film, Jackie Chan plays Huo An, the commander of the Protection Squad of
the Western Regions in the Han Dynasty. John Cusack and Adrien
Brody also play their parts in the film.

In western China, 48 BC., the Han Dynasty established the Protection Squad of the Western Regions to protect the Silk Road and reconcile 36 nations in the Western Region, and Huo An is the commander. However, the Protection Squad is found corrupt, causing the entire group to be judged to construct the castle at Wild Geese Gate. Not long after, Wild Geese Gate is threatened by a Roman legion led by Lucius in need of water and supplies. Huo An and Lucius succeed in staying in peace. The legion uses its engineering skills to speed up the construction work, and they finish the job together ahead of schedule.

To hunt
down Lucius, Tiberius, a corrupt consul who murdered his father, approaches
with 100,000 soldiers. Lucius is set up and dies and Huo
An is trapped. As Huo
An’s and Lucius’s soldiers are surrounded, the armies of several other races
arrive and fight against Tiberius, including the Indians, Huns, Uighurs, and
Turkics, all of whom are determined to preserve the Silk Road’s safety. But
their combined forces are unable to gain the upper hand. Finally, the envoys sent
earlier return with a massive force of Parthians, who have signed a special
treaty with Tiberius’s father. Tiberius’s soldiers lose their will to fight.
Huo An challenges Tiberius to a duel and kills him. After the war, the Chinese
emperor grants Lucius’s legion the right to establish their own city, which
they choose to name Regum. They accept Huo An as their commander.

Dragon
Blade is based on a true Chinese history event.

In the Han Dynasty of Chinese history, the
Huns were a severe threat in the north to the Han Emperor. During the regnum of the Emperor
Yuan (74 BC—33 BC), the Huns separated into two parts,
the South Huns and the North Huns. The North Huns, led by the Zhizhi Chanyu who
was envious of the preferential treatment of the Emperor for the South Huns,
often imprisoned, humiliated or even kill the Han envoy within their territory.
Zhizhi Chanyu was worried about the punishment from the Emperor, though. And
Zhizhi Chanyu escaped to Kangqu, in what is now the area between Balkhash Lake
and Aral Sea, where he built a Zhizhi City.

Chen Tang, Vice-captain of the Protection Squad of
the Western Regions, determined to attacked the Zhizhi
City, and he reported to the Commander Gan Yanshou. Gan Yanshou agreed the
plan, but he insisted that the plan should be proved by the Emperor. Chen Tang
was impatient of the long decision procedure and the road to the Emperor was so
long. One day, Gan Yanshou was ill, which gave Chen Tang the chance to fabricate
the command of the Emperor to call in all army and protectorate army to attack the Zhizhi
City. Gan Yanshou was so shocked by Chen Tang, but the attack was on the way,
and he had to admit the mistake and reported to the Emperor and followed Chen
Tang to lead the war.

In the assault against Zhizhi City, a team
of strange soldiers in Zhizhi ‘s army used a “fish-scale formation ”, which is believed
by historian and military scientist that the described Testudo formation of
overlapping shields was made only by Roman soldiers. The infantrymen used the Testudo
formation for defense on the foot of the fortress, and the cavalrymen charged
towards Gan Yanshou and Chen Tang army. But the Han united army finally win the
war, and Zhizhi Chanyu was killed. A thousand more North Huns army was captured,
the team of strange soldiers included. It is believed that the the team of
strange soldiers were mercenary army.

The
war happens in the wrong Chinese place.

The war is real, and Commander Gan Yanshou,
Vice-Captain Chen Tang, and Testudo formation are true in history. In the long
long time in history, as an advanced farming culture, the Han-Chinese were self-sufficient.
But the nomads, especially the Huns in the Han Dynasty, threatened the Han
Dynasty in the way of burning, killing, pillaging, even war, to get necessities.
The Han-Chinese regime often fought for the right to survive, but to lose more
than to win. The film tells the basic truth but makes some mistakes.

First, the Dragon Bladewar happens in the wrong place. The film people apparently are short of geographical knowledge. Check the Han Dynasty map below, and the black circle part is the Wild Geese Gate fortress in North China, and the red circle part is the Capitol City Chang’an, and the green region is the territory of the Han Dynasty.

The Wild Geese Gate fortress,
which is “Yan men guan” in Chinese pinyin, located in Yan Men Mountain, 20km north of Daixian County,
Yizhou city, Shanxi Province, North China, is an
important pass of the Great Wall. The Wild Geese Gate fortress is famous of its
steepness and ruggedness, easy to hold but hard to attack. During the Han
Dynasty, the Wild Geese Gate was a significant military base for the Han army
to fight against the Huns from the North.

The
Protection Squad of the Western Regions, with its administrative office
located in nowadays Luntai, Xinjiang Province, China, governed the Western
Region, in what is now mostly Xinjiang Province, Qinghai Province, China, and
the area located in the east of the Pamirs Plateau, east and south of the Balkhash
Lake. If the Roman legion came to China, they would first arrive in the Western
Regions in any case.

The distance between the Wild Geese Gate fortress and Western
Regions is thousands of miles. The Roman legion would never be able to
reach the deep China. So, the Roman legion must arrive in the Western Regions.

Second,
the film excessively weakens the operational capability of the Han Dynasty
army.

The Roman
legion of 100,000 soldiers led by Tiberius couldn’t just silently go to
the Wild Geese Gate and pass by the Capitol of the Han Dynasty, Chang’an, which
is located in the middle between the Western Regions and the Wild
Geese Gate. And during the story, the Han Dynasty army never shows
up, which doesn’t make sense. Needless to say, the powerful Han Dynasty army,
the army of the Protection Squad of the Western Regions cannot be
underestimated. And the Han Dynasty army will never ignore the Roman legion occupying
the 36 nations in the Western Region, and will annihilate the Roman legion
in minutes.

Third,
the film never explains how the Roman legion with 100,000 soldiers supports
their logistical ability. In ancient times, the logistic support
for the army is rather difficult, because it needs human to transport food,
weapons, tents, and forage. In this way, the logistic support troops must
be huge, as the 100,000 soldiers’ legion fought thousands
of miles deep in China. But in the film, the logistic support troops never show up.

Forth, the Parthians and the 36 nations in the Western
Region would never come to the Wild Geese Gate fortress
in North China, for the same reasons. The Parthians and the 36 nations armies, which
are enormous Operational personnel, would never have the fighting ability to
attack to come to the area, and the Han Dynasty army never overlook them.
The post The war happens in the wrong Chinese place in Dragon Blade first appeared on On Film.
